The World Class Boxing Council (WCBC)™ is a sanctioning body that sanctions semi professional boxing bouts
and awards WCBC International championship titles and subordinate British & southern area championship titles.
It is dedicated to promoting and serving the sport of semi professional boxing,and implementing uniform safety measures,
computerized rankings system and uniform procedures for the protection of semi professional boxers as well as the conduct
of championship bouts,and implementing fairness and equal opportunities at all times, impartially, honestly and fairly
to everybody, with its own authority to regulate, control and supervise the conduct of sanctioned bouts in its own
jurisdictions, throughout the uk and worldwide.
 
 
The World Class Boxing Council (WCBC)™ is the uk's first boxing sanctioning body to implement an independent
and unbiased computerized rankings system for all licensed and insured, men's semi professional boxers all over the uk,
in an effort to bring more credibility to the sport of boxing. and to replace the myriad of subjective rankings set in place
by made up overnight unlicensed & white collar boxing organisations that promise the earth but in reality have no infrastructure.
as well as to rebuild confidence of the fans and the media in crowning worthy and legitimate champions
 

The history of World Class Boxing Council (WCBC)™ can be traced back to October of 2007,
when it became established as originally the white collar boxing council the first of its kind in the uk.
in 2010 it t was renamed the world class boxing council and became semi professional boxing because
of the amount of promoters starting up their own white collar organisations and taking away all credibility

To work towards a common goal of insuring health, safety and protection in the sport of boxing, and to protect and ensure
the safety and welfare of semi professional boxers in the uk and around the world. To prevent all methods or practices which might severely damage
the integrity, image and value of boxing, to promote the sport of boxing as integrity, equity, fairness, transparency and healthy exercise;
 

To implement a fair, equitable, scientific, independent and objective computerized rankings system for the ratings of semi professional boxers,
and to provide a fairness and equal opportunity at all times to all associated parties and participants;

To create a sustainable competitive advantage to provide more opportunities for the best and brightest boxers to help their dreams come true,
as well as achieve our common goal;
 
 
To increase high-quality competition, and to recognize the best boxer as our Champion, and to ensure the boxing fans around the world enjoy
higher levels of competition; To enhance the overall quality of ring officials and improve their ethics, and professional conduct,
by providing courses in judging and coaching and to ensure the greater equity, transparency and fairness for the result of each competition;

To offer a boxer peace of mind for his/her family knowing that when they are in a boxing ring with the wcbc, they are insured and protected.
and not worry about being mis matched just to fill a promoters pocket.

To introduce random drug screening of boxers so as to irradicate the use of steroids and other enhancement drugs that cast a shadow
of the majority of unlicensed boxing bouts. and to ensure that both boxers fight on an even keel.
 
 
To create a series of WCBC bouts to protect the interests of WCBC ranked male semi professional boxers and to bring more fresh
atmosphere into the sport of boxing, instead of just having routine boxing matches.
